It is very important to take adequate preparation before walking in the area. Take into consideration that this can be a steep and precipitous mountainous region, often with few waymarks, and very changeable weather. These information sheets are intended as guidelines only and should not be considered as self guided walking notes At Hotel Posada del Valle we lend and sell maps of the area, and also produce detailed notes for self-guided walkers. Because of its location, Hotel Posada del Valle is an ideal base for walking holidays, as a great variety of excellent walks are within a short car drive (or train trip) from the hotel, and some walks either start or end (or both) on the doorstep.
